Classroom Rules

1.  Be kind to others

2.  Follow all directions the first time

3.  Be as quiet as a mouse

4.  Walk like a turtle

5.  Come to school everyday

Discipline

Each student has a clip with their name on it.  At the beginning of each day, it is on green.  If the student does not follow our classroom rules, their initials are written on the board as a reminder.  If they continue, they move their clip to yellow and have a 5 minute time out during recess.  If the child misbehaves again, the child will move their clip to red which results in a 10 minute time out and a note home.

Folders

Each child has a red and a blue folder.  The red folder contains all of the child's work from the week.  The blue folder contains their homework.  Both folders go home on Friday.  The child will bring the empty red folder back to school on Monday.  The blue folder is returned on Friday with the completed homework inside.
